Homework, Homework, Homework!!!

How do I help as the Parent??

Here are some tips that can help you help your child do homework:

• Have a specific place where homework is always done, it should be
  • Well lite
  • Quiet but not isolated
  • Comfortable, with chair and table
  • Equipped with materials
• Have regular time for homework, or make a schedule for that week that will be filled in and make sure homework is on everyday!
• Be supportive and give appropriate help, don't do the homework for them just guide them
• Show interest in the subject and encourage your child's efforts
• Be both loving and firm
• Help the child if they need explanation of the assignment by going on the web or calling homework hotline
• IF all else fails try to contact the teacher to get answers
